President Abdul Hamid returned home tonight after attending ‘The First Summit of the OIC on Science and Technology’ in Astana, Kazakhstan.
A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying the President landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 10.25 pm.
On his arrival at the airport, the President was received by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, the dean of the diplomatic corps, cabinet secretary, chiefs of the three services, principal secretary to the prime minister, inspector general of police and high civil and military officials.
The President went to Astana on September 9 to attend the summit.
